Following on from the June 2024 CCE Conference we have been working with workshop facilitators to develop an exciting range of webinars. The programme runs from October 2024 to June 2025 and will deliver a variety of sessions, each with different themes and subjects from a wide range of organisations. You may notice as the full programme becomes available a difference in webinar charges, this is because CCE is pleased to work with a wide range of organisations and costs differ.

Chaplaincy Induction
Centre for Chaplaincy in Education and Newman University, Birmingham.
Are you new in post as an education chaplain, or are you due to start in a post? If so, we invite you to register for our Chaplaincy Induction. The course will:
The course is taught on-line, with facilitated sessions at 6.30pm on alternate Monday evenings [with breaks for holidays and half-terms]. The cost of the course is £425. We encourage you to contact your school or college and church community to seek support with funding. A limited number of bursaries are also available.

Might God be calling you to be a chaplain or are you recently appointed and looking for an induction course? If so, you may be interested in Exploring Chaplaincy, an 8-session course facilitated by the Centre for Chaplaincy in Education. The course will explore what is distinctive about chaplaincy, the theology of chaplaincy, what chaplains actually do and give you a chance to discern your next steps.
Exploring Chaplaincy will be delivered online. The course will take place on Tuesdays, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm on the following dates.
The cost of the course is £100.

This innovative programme delivered by CCE in partnership with Newman University offers an opportunity to experienced practitioners to explore this aspect of the ministry of Chaplaincy in Schools & Colleges. It is delivered through a mix of face to face (on-line) sessions and personal study resources, this course is intended for those viewed as advanced practitioners, experienced in chaplaincy in a school or college context as a form of CPD.
The course is designed to have, running through it, experience of analysis, critical thinking and reflection on the chaplaincy role. The course is aimed at Chaplains with a least three years’ experience (or equivalent) in chaplaincy or similar relevant role. A reference is required for each applicant.
