LecDeck Year C is launched

After the successful launch in October 2019, the LecDeck youth ministry resource is kicking-off the 2021/22 lectionary year with the launch of Year C and the updated LecDeck App for Android and Apple iOS.

The LecDeck was launched as a Lectionary inspired deck of 52 discipleship cards designed to engage young people in God’s word. Each card containing a Bible passage selected from the principal service, along with thought provoking questions, quote and a prayer focus. In 2020 the LecDeck App was launched and this year the full lectionary set has been completed through the launch of Year C.

It’s a resource to fit in your back pocket or bag and requires little to no planning and preparation. It has the potential to be used in multiple ways and places; youth groups, homegroups, Christian Unions, families at home, personal study, or even given to young people to use independently in a pew.

It is hoped that it will help young people to find depth and meaning in the lectionary readings and will help them to grow deeper in their relationship with God. This is a flexible resource, so you are not confined to the lectionary, cards can be used in any order you like.

This has been a joint venture between the Diocese of Bath and Wells, Go Team and the Diocese of Bristol, Youth and Children’s Adviser.

Purchasing the LecDeck App is a one-off payment of £5.99 for both Android and Apple iOS formats (if you already have the app, it has been updated to include the Year C content). To download, search for the LecDeck on the relevant app store.

Original packs of LecDeck Year A and B are available at a reduced price of £4.00 each (including P+P in the UK). Year C is available to purchase at £8.00 each (including P+P in the UK) or you can purchase the full set for £15 (including P+P in the UK).
